John’s People’s Choice Picks

I don't watch all the awards shows, but when I do, one of my favorites is usually the People's Choice Awards. Jane Lynch is hosting, so it should be a lot of fun. I went through the list of nominees and here are my picks.

Favorite Movie: Furious 7. I think since this was Paul Walker's last one it will get the nod.

Favorite Movie Actor: Chris Pratt. I don't think Jurassic World would have been as good without him

Favorite Movie Actress: Anne Hathaway

Favorite Action Movie: Jurassic World. I think this will edge Furious 7 here.

Favorite Action Movie Actor: Vin Diesel

Favorite Action Movie Actress: Emily Blunt

Favorite Animated Voice: Amy Poehler

Favorite Comedic Movie: Ted 2

Favorite Comedic Movie Actor: Mark Wahlberg

Favorite Comedic Movie Actress: Melissa McCarthy. I have always liked her, and since Mike & Molly has been given the ax, I think she gets the emotional vote.

Dramatic Movie goes to The Martian with Dramatic Actor going to Matt Damon and Actress to Blake Lively.

Family Movie: Inside Out. Thriller: Boy Next Door. Network TV Comedy: The Big Bang Theory. Favorite TV show: The Walking Dead. Comedic TV Actor: Jim Parsons. Comedic TV Actress: Kaley Cuoco.

Network Drama: Gotham. Dramatic TV Actor: Terrence Howard. Actress: Ellen Pompeo.

Cable TV Comedy: Baby Daddy. Drama: Rizzoli & Isles. Actor: Kevin Hart. Actress: Sasha Alexander.
