Keith Richards Has A Kid’s Book In The Works

Keith Richards has a new book coming out in September. The Rolling Stones guitarist has written an autobiographical children's book called Gus & Me: The Story of My Granddad and My First Guitar. It's a picture book about his beloved grandfather, a big jazz band musician, who helped inspire his love of playing music. Scheduled to be released on September 9th in hardback (which comes with a CD of bonus audio content) & ebook formats, this collaboration of Richards along with Barnaby Harris & Bill Shapiro features pen-and-ink illustrations by his 28-year-old daughter, Theodora. She based her illustrations on pictures from the family's collection.
