Nugent Paid $16 Grand To Not Show Up At Celebration

How would you like to get paid $16,000 to stay out of town? Well that's what the city of Longview, Texas is paying Ted Nugent. The Nuge' was under consideration to headline their Independence Day celebration until he made some controversial comments. They also realized that maybe Terrible Ted wasn't family appropriate entertainment... ya think? I've seen the Motor City Madman perform several times, he definitely rocks the joint but he likes to drop the f-bomb quite a bit & he nevers holds back on his political views. All in all it worked out pretty good for Uncle Ted who still received about half his performance fee, for not showing up.
