Paul McCartney To Be Honored At This Years NME Awards

Paul McCartney is going to be honored with the Songwriter's Songwriter Award at U.K.'s NME Awards 2014 which takes place at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on Wednesday February 26th. The one-off honor acknowledges & celebrates McCartney's contributions to the world of music throughout his career. He also joins a list of announced 2014 NME honorees who will receive the Godlike Genius prize and he's also nominated in the Best Solo Artist category alongside David Bowie and four other nominees.
