Paul Rudd Uses the Power of Queen to Defeat Jimmy Fallon in Lip-Sync Battle

Last night (Feb. 25) on ‘The Tonight Show,’ Jimmy Fallon revived a much-loved feature on his previous program, the “Lip-Sync Off.” His challenger on the evening was actor Paul Rudd, and both Foreigner and Queen songs were involved in the battle.

The rules are simple: Fallon and his guest take turns miming a section of two well-known songs, with a winner crowned at the end. Rudd went first, choosing Tina Turner’s 1984 hit ‘Better Be Good to Me.’ Fallon responded with Foreigner’s ‘Juke Box Hero,’ falling to his knees for the anthemic chorus.

But for the final round, Rudd brought out the heavy artillery, with Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now,’ complete with leaps and jazz hands. The performance was so good that Fallon conceded rather than even attempt to top it.

Previous lip-sync battles from ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ featured Stephen Merchant, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and John Krasinski, whom Fallon credited with introducing him to the game.
