Power 96 Classic Rock A-Z Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day is the one day each year that has been set aside to celebrate the American worker. To recognize the contributions and sacrifice they've given over the year in order to bring strength and prosperity to the United States of America. It also marks the unofficial end of summer.

Locally, many people like to get together for one last outside picnic, go camping, take in the Minnesota State Fair or Renaissance Festival or some other outdoor activity. A sort of last hurrah as we send off summer.

Power 96 will be celebrating too, with the Essential Classic Rock A-Z Labor Day Weekend. From 6AM to midnight Saturday and Sunday, we'll be running through our library of classic rock songs and playing them back from A to Z. We'll wrap it up shortly before Ultimate Classic Rock with Zach Martin at 7PM on Labor Day. Listen for your favorite tune as we count 'em down from A-Z this Labor Day Weekend on Power 96.
