Power 96 Cool One Recap: Collective Soul

Yesterday's Power 96 Cool One came from the band Collective Soul. They released their ninth studio album in October of this year, See What You Started By Continuing, the first new album from them since 2009. The song I featured, "This," was the lead single from the album and was released before the album on July 15. Since then, they've released three more singles, "AYTA," which dropped on August 6, "Hurricane," released on August 27, and "Contagious," which came out on September 17. Unfortunately none of these singles have managed to do anything on the charts. I'm sure the band is hoping to change that when they premiere their fifth single, "Without Me," on New Year's Eve. The album itself debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Alternative Albums chart and peaked at No. 25 on the U.S. Billboard 200.
