The Power 96 Cool One I picked for yesterday was Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young's "Got It Made" from their November 1988 release American Dream. This was their fifth studio album and it yielded five singles, including the title track, "Night Time for Generals," "This Old House," "That Girl" and "Got It Made." Yesterday's Cool One performed the best out of those five, hitting No. 69 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, No. 11 on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart and No. 1 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The album peaked at No. 16 on the U.S. Billboard 100.

Today's Power 96 Cool One, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts on Seventh Street in Faribault, comes from a hard rock band out of Los Angeles that, despite having a good following, never manged to really hit the big time. Here's a hint: they've actually performed in Faribault. Make sure you're listening at 4:35PM to find out which band it is.
