Yesterday's Power 96 Cool One was George Harrison's "Cheer Down." Taken from the Lethal Weapon 2 soundtrack, this track written by Harrison and Tom Petty and produced by Harrison and Electric Light Orchestra's Jeff Lynne, made it to No. 53 on the Canadian Singles chart in 1989, but failed to chart in both the U.S. and his native England.

Supposedly the song takes it's cue from something that Harrison's wife would tell him when he got too excited about something.
