Power 96 Cool One Recap: Robert Plant

Wednesday's Power 96 Cool One was Robert Plant's "Hurting Kind (I've Got My Eyes On You)" from his fifth solo album, Manic Nirvana, released in 1990. The single went to No. 46 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, No. 1 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks and No. 45 on the UK Singles Chart. The album peaked at No. 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and No. 15 in the UK. The lead single from the album titled "Big Love" came in at No. 35 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

Manic Nirvana is the first solo album that I owned by Robert Plant and also my favorite. I really enjoy the track "Tie Dye on the Highway," and you might hear it every once in a while as a deep track on Power 96.
