Power 96 Cool One Recap: The Darkness

Wow, what a nice weekend. Last Friday seems so long ago. First off a big "Thank You!" to everyone who participated in last Friday's successful Faribault Mainstreet Car Cruise Night in downtown Faribault. On Saturday, my son, grandson and I, went to to the Rice County Historical Society Flea Market and the Faribo Drag Ons Car Show at the Rice County Fairgrounds. The rest of the day was spent car shopping with my son and daughter-in-law and yard work at my wife's aunt's house. My wife and I wrapped up the night at a fun bonfire and party plus a night tour of Prairieville. Yesterday it was more yard work and this time it was my yard. That took all day, although I did take a break for some delicious burgers on the grill.

Okay, here's a quick recap of Friday's Power 96 Cool One. It was "One Way Ticket" from The Darkness, from their second studio release, One Way Ticket to Hell... and Back. The Cool One failed to chart in the U.S. but made it to No. 8 in the UK and the album went to No. 58 on the U.S. Billboard 200.
