Power 96 Cool One Recap: The Stone Roses

I wasn't sure what song I wanted use for Tuesday's Power 96 Cool One until I stumbled across "All For One," a new tune from The Stone Roses released in the UK last Thursday, May 12. This is their first new track in about 20 years and quickly went to No. 1 on the British iTunes chart.

You might remember this English band from their self-titled debut album, which they released to much critical acclaim in 1989. It topped out at No. 5 on the UK Albums Chart, but unfortunately only made to No. 86 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Their highest charting single in the U.S., "Love Spreads," came from their second studio album, Second Coming, and it went to No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
