Yesterday's Power 96 Cool One was Robin Trower's "No Time" from his 1987 studio album Passion, released on the GNP Crescendo label. The single peaked at No. 25 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and the album topped out at No. 100 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

English rocker Robin Trower achieved his initial success as the guitarist with the band Procol Harum from 1967-71. During that time he recorded five albums with the band. He even handles the lead vocals on songs on three of the records. His work with Procol Harum was amazing but it's his solo work that I enjoy the most. Of course his best-known album is Bridge of Sighs, and no classic rock collection should be without it, but make sure you check some of his other work, including his live recordings, where he really shines.

I hope you can join me today at 4:35PM for the next Power 96 Cool One, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts in Faribault, on Power 96.
