If you enjoy hiking through the River Bend Nature Center or attending one of their wonderful programs or activities, why not also get involved with helping them out. The River Bend Nature Center is recruiting volunteers to be on the committee that will help organize and plan the River Bend Ramble, the largest fundraiser of the year for the Nature Center. The Ramble includes dinner, a live auction and silent auctions, and will take place on Sept. 19 at the Faribault American Legion.

Ramble committee volunteers will be asked to help with various aspects of the Ramble, including soliciting auction donations from local businesses and people, event planning and preparation, and event setup the day of the event. There will be about six meetings held to plan for the event. People interested in volunteering for the Ramble Committee may contact River Bend’s executive director Ben Van Gundy by phone, (507) 332-7151, or by email, vangundy@rbnc.org.
