Ruth’s House Annual Gala Fundraiser Details on AM Minnesota

The 14th annual Ruth's House Hearts Gala Fundraiser will be Saturday, February 11, at the American Legion in Faribault.

Ruth Hickey joins us on AM Minnesota at 9:30AM today to give us some details. There will be silent and live auctions.

Ruth's House needs repairs totaling nearly $100,000. There is a lot of wear and tear with about 27 people in the home each day. The home is also more than 100 years old. They would like to replace the roof, repair the ceilings, install new carpet, update the sprinkler system and redo the concrete steps.

Tickets for the The Hearts Gala are $60 per person or $600 for a table seating up to 10 people.

On the silent or live auctions are some pretty incredible items, including a trip to Disney World in Orlando, Fla., or a relaxing week in the Ozarks.

It's a win all the way around. You get something you would like and Ruth's House receives some much needed money for their repairs and programming.
