Birthdays are so special, especially when you hit triple digits. Gert Schaubach of Crosby turned 103 this week and wanted to go fishing for her birthday.

Recently I found a website called Vonvon that can tell you your exact day of departure from this rock just by entering your birthday.

On Saturday, my family threw me the only surprise birthday party that I've ever had. And it had a poop emoji theme, which I found quite hilarious. My actual birthday isn't until next Saturday, but I'm usually busy with the Rice County Fair, so they threw an early party, complete with poop emoji cupcakes and poopsi (Pepsi, it's my favorite)...

I look forward to my birthday each year. Despite the fact that each year I get another year older, I still enjoy the time with my family enjoying some cake and opening a few presents.
