The calendar might say that autumn starts, but road construction season is not over. A project has started on I-35 that could last until October 21.

Be ready to start seeing orange cones, road construction season has officially arrived in Minnesota. The Minnesota Department on Transportation has announced 290 new road construction projects slated for this summer, which combined are valued at about $1 billion.

Currently, there is some construction in the alleyway by the KDHL Power 96 Studios. It started as one long thing cement section headed down the alley hill, and now a second has been added.

Here at the KDHL and Power 96 studios, the floor has been shaking all day! The culprit: the road in front of our studios is currently being worked on, and there some heavy duty equipment being used.

The well known joke is that Minnesota has two seasons: winter and road construction. And given what felt like a never ending winter, there might be some truth to that!
