Want to Go to the Renaissance Festival?

Take a trip back in time to the days of knights, kings and queens and all the majesty and pageantry of the medieval times during this year’s Minnesota Renaissance Festival in Shakopee.

This fun-filled event has become a yearly tradition for my wife and me because we both love going to check out the food, the wares and of course the shows, filled with comedy, juggling, stories and quite often surprises.

The first time that I ever passed through the hallowed gates of the Renaissance Festival it felt like I had stepped into an alternate storyline of Monty Python’s “The Holy Grail,” as I was immediately hailed by a passing knight with some strange query that made me laugh and realize this was my kind of festival.

The Renaissance Festival is happening in Shakopee weekends now through the first weekend of October, and Power 96 has your tickets to go.
