New Brighton, MN (KROC-AM News) - The search for the victim of an apparent weekend drowning in the Twin Cities ended Tuesday afternoon.

The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office says the body of an adult woman was recovered from Long Lake in New Brighton after almost four days of searching. The search was launched Saturday afternoon after emergency responders received a 911 call from a witness who reported the woman vanished in the lake after she fell out of a kayak.

The victim was not wearing a life jacket. Her name has not been released.
