Crash On Hwy 61 Involves Snow Plow
Wabasha, MN (KROC AM News) - At least one person is injured after a vehicle was struck by a snow plow on Highway 61 in Wabasha Tuesday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a Ford Fusion, driven by a 22-year-old man from Chicago, was traveling westbound on State Highway 60 Tuesday around 7:30 p.m. and attempted to cross Highway 61 and was struck by a MnDOT Snow Plow, driven by a 40-year-old Rochester man, that was traveling southbound on Highway 61. Road conditions were described as covered with snow and ice at the time of the incident.
The State Patrol earlier reported this incident as a fatal crash. No other information has been released.
