Goodhue Girls Basketball Among Class 2A Elite

The Minnesota Basketball News girls basketball top 20 rankings have a number of KDHL/POWER 96 area teams among them.  Goodhue is the smallest Class 2A team in the state and is ranked 19th thanks to a recent win over #11 Lake City.

The Big Nine Conference has three ranked teams in Class 3A .  #4 Red Wing, #5 Austin, #13 Mankato West.  The Gopher Conference has three representatives, #12 Medford in Class 2A, #6 Blooming Prairie and #12 Waterville-Elysian-Morristown in Class 1A.

The South Suburban Conference has 6 teams ranked in the top 20 in Class 4A.  #3 Farmington, #8 Rosemount, #12 Shakopee, #15 Lakeville North, #17 Burnsville, #20 Eastview.
