A big second period helped lead the Faribault Boys Hockey (1-1) team to a big 8-2 win over the Waseca Blue Jays (1-1) on the road Tuesday Night. After a close first period of action, the Falcons came out fighting in the second.

Faribault boys come out of the gates quickly as Sophomore, Zack Siegert, got it started with a minute in to the first off a beautiful pass from Grady Goodwin. The lead would be short lived as Waseca's Senior Captain, Tylor Nordquist, would sneak one through the five-hole of Falcon net-miner, Spencer Ell, at the 4:32 mark of the period. The Blue Jays would soon take their only lead of the night as Sophomore, Charlie Huttermier, would light the lamp at 11:51.

From there on out, it was all Faribault as they would score seven unanswered goals as Junior, Zach Siegert would have two goals, one coming off the power-play, while Jordan Nawrocki, Leighton Weasler, Keaton Ginter, Brody Pavel, and Noah Murphy all found the back of the net for the Falcons. Faribault would also out shoot Waseca 37-23.

Falcons Boy's Hockey return to action Thursday, as they travel to Rochester to take on the Rockets of Rochester John Marshall (1-1). Puck drop set for 7:15pm
