The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights were rated #1 in the preseason and first Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association Class A rankings.  They are undefeated so far but dropped to #2 in this week's poll.

Defending Class A Champion Minneota is on top after defeating some state ranked Class AAA teams in a tournament over the weekend.  The Vikings only loss was to Northfield.  Another Class AAA ranked team.

The Northfield Raiders jumped all the way to #2 in Class AAA and received a first place vote.  Eagan is still #1 in Class AAA.  Northfield jumped due to wins over Lakeville North and Wayzata.  North Branch is now atop Class AA with Stewartville dropping to #2.

Medford is still ranked #4 in Class A, Mayer Lutheran is #3 and Waterville-Elysian-Morristown #5.  Mabel-Canton is #6 and Caledonia #7.  That means 5 of the top 7 teams in Class A are in the same Section 1A.

#5 Class AA Kasson-Mantorville hosts Kenyon-Wanamingo tonight on KDHL, 920 AM and the KDHL app.
