Minnesota Candy Maker Teams Up With Brewery For New Beer
When you think about Pearson's candy a salted nut roll comes to mind. Pearson Candy recently teamed up with St. Paul brewery Tin Whiskers to bring about a new beer-flavored by an old favorite, not a salted nut roll but a mint patty. The new beer named Mint Patties Double Stout rolled out on Wednesday.
The beer will be hitting store shelves November 18th with it going on tap at the Tin Whiskers Brewery just in time for Thanksgiving November 22nd.
The beer according to the brewery's website is Tin Whiskers "first-ever beer in 12oz cans, this hyper-limited Spark Series infusion line release will only be around for a very limited time". The beer is described as "a rich, silky dessert stout brewed with real dark chocolate and peppermint oil."
The beer is not Tin Whiskers' first collaboration with the Pearson's Candy Company but actually it's fourth. Previously there has been a Salted Nut Roll Ale, Nut Goodie Porter, Bit-O-Honey Blonde, and now the Mint Patties Double Stout.
