New Orleans Saints punter Thomas Morstead's Charity wrapped up it's Minnesota Vikings fan-supported drive today and ended up with more than $200,000! The final number raised was $221,143 and was donated by over 5,000 people. In addition to the money that was raised and donated, the recipient Childrens Minnesota made a video thanking Morstead and all those that donated.

Now that the Minnesota drive has ended, a post on the former donation page asks those looking to still donate, to make a contribution to the Child Life programs in Louisiana.

The best part is that Morstead is going to be bringing that money back to Minnesota! In a moving tribute to sportsmanship donations have poured in after an injured Morstead came back out onto the field for the PAT after the Vikings snatched a win in the closing seconds of Sunday's NFC Divisional playoff round.

After the game, a Reddit post surfaced encouraging Vikings fans to donate to Morstead's What You Give Will Grow foundation. Surprised by the news of donations flooding in, Morstead then pledged to donate 100% of funds raised from Vikings fans to the Child Life department at Children's Hospital in Minnesota.

Morstead didn't stop there. The Saints punter backed up the donation by stating that he will personally fly back during the week of the Superbowl to donate the money raised if it exceeded $100,000.

Better buy that airfare soon Thomas, as of early this morning more than $139,000 had been raised with three days left in the campaign. If you'd like to donate you can do so here.
