Major League Baseball is expected to finally start back up on Friday in Minnesota with the Twins playing in Chicago. Another Minnesota professional sport, the Minnesota Wild, tweeted out this morning the game times for their first two play-in playoff games in Edmonton against the Vancouver Canucks, let's just say I hope you can stay up late to watch.

The Wild will play an exhibition game against divisional rival Colorado July 29th at 1:30pm which will be broadcasted on FS North, and then the play-in playoffs best of 5 series against Vancouver begins on August 2nd. Game 1 is scheduled for a 9:30pm Central start, while Game 2 is slated to begin at 9:45pm August 4th.

The media release also stated that working the games will be;

"Fox Sports North live broadcasts will feature play-by-play announcer Anthony LaPanta with analysts Wes Walz and Ryan Carter. Kevin Gorg will handle reporting, with all player interviews taking place via Zoom. The telecasts will originate from Xcel Energy Center with the talent working remotely for all games. Wild Live will air before and after every telecast with Audra Martin hosting the pre/postgame shows. Games 1 and 2 will feature a special one-hour edition of Wild Live." Minnesota Wild

Start times for Games 3 (8/6), 4 (8/7), and if needed a Game 5 (8/9) have not been determined as of yet, but if I had to guess it will be late starts for Games 3 and 4, and a possible Game 5 lands on a Sunday so that could be a matinee game for the winner-take-all series.

I can honestly say I can't wait for some professional hockey in all of its awkward COVID-19 goodness.
