Northfield and Mankato East in Class A State Girls Hockey Tournament

The Northfield Raiders are the No. 5 seed and will play Wednesday night at 8PM against Mound Westonka at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

The Mankato East/Loyola Cougars got a tough draw with the No. 2 seed St. Paul United and will play at 11AM.

Other Class A match-ups are No. 3 seed Warroad facing Hibbing/Chisholm at 1PM. At 6PM, No. 1 seed Blake School goes up against Alexandria.

The semifinals are Friday at 11AM and 1PM, and the title game is 4PM Saturday.

The consolation games are at Ridder Arena on the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. The third-place game is at the X at 9AM Saturday.

Northfield is 19-6-3 and Mound Westonka 21-6. Mankato East/Loyola is 17-9-1 and St. Paul United 19-6-2. Blake School is 24-2-1 and Alexandria 14-12-1. Warroad is 17-8-2 and Hibbing/Chisholm 17-10-1.

In Class AA, Edina (25-1-1) received the top seed and will play against Farmington (16-11-2) at 6PM Thursday. No. 2 seed Blaine (22-3-2) faces Roseau (19-8-1). No. 3 seed Hill-Murray (23-4-1) tangles with Eastview of Apple Valley (16-10-2). No. 4 Eden Prairie (19-6-2) skates against No. 5 Forest Lake (20-6-2).

The AA semis are at 6PM and 8PM Friday night. The championship is at 7PM Saturday. The third-place game is 11AM Saturday at the X. Consolation games are Friday at 10AM and noon.
