Senior goalie Ryan Bielenberg had outstanding tournament with 96 saves in the three games at state. Bielenberg collected 34 saves in the opening win over the Zephyrs as the Raiders were outshot 35-22. Bilenberg set all the goalie records at Northfield.

There were 12 seniors on this year's team.

The semifinal loss was a thriller. Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake scored the game winner with 2.3 seconds to go in regulation and then fell in two overtimes 3-2 to Hermantown in the state championship game.
