Thursday's Power 96 Cool One came from The Cars. I featured the single "You Might Think" from their fifth studio album, Heartbeat City. Produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange and released in 1984, this album was very successful for the band, reaching No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200, making it their highest charting album since 1979's Candy-O. "You Might Think" topped out at No. 1 on the the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and No. 7 on the Hot 100. Several other singles from Heartbeat City also performed well on the charts, "Magic" checked in at No. 1 on the Mainstream Rock chart and No. 12 on the Hot 100, "Drive" made it to No. 3 on both charts and "Hello Again" peaked at No. 22 on the Mainstream Rock chart and No. 20 on the Hot 100.
