Randolph Baseball Allows No Hits in Roll over AC/GE

Randolph Rockets pitchers Brandon Gerster and Nathan Weckop combined for a no-hitter in a 15-0 win over Alden-Conger/Glenville Emmons Thursday in Randolph.

The Rockets jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning, added three more runs in the second before exploding for 7 runs in the third inning.

The game ended after five. innings via the mercy rule.

Gerster was 3 for 3 at the plate with 2 RBI, he had 2 stolen bases.

Jacob Weckop had a pair of hits and stolen base.  Kaven Blonigen collected 2 hits, 2 RBI.

Collin Otto clubbed a RBI double and stole a base.  Wyatt Banaszewski stole a base and had a RBI hit.

Nathan Weckop had a hit, 2 RBI and a stolen base.  Nathan Weckop went the first four innings throwing 75 pitches, 41 strikes with 9 strikeouts, 3 walks.  Gerster threw one inning, 11 pitches, 10 strikes with 3 strikeouts.

The two pitchers faced just three batters over the minimum.

Randolph is 9-0, their pitching has allowed 8 runs, 3 earned to start the season.
