Sally Is Looking To Be With A Family Again After Being Found In February
Time for this week's adoptable pet, which features a recent find, in that Sally was just found in February of this year and it appears at one time she was someone's pet. How about we work to find Sally a new family?
Our friend Michaela, a volunteer with the Mower County Humane Society has more about Sally.
Sally was found in Grand Meadow, MN. She is about 6 to 7 years of age as of 2/2021. When Sally was rescued we found that she was already altered so someone’s pet at one point in time, sadly. Sally would do best in a home where she is the only cat and where the home is a calm adult environment. We are looking for a patient, loving home for Sally so she can feel apart of a family once again.
Seeing that Sally is looking to be the only cat in the home, and in a calm environment, maybe a home that is a recent empty nester now that colleges are back in session would be a good fit for her?
Sally can be adopted for just $50 with an approved application at the Mower County Humane Society, you can get that application and see more adoptable animals here.
If you are interested in getting out this weekend and also helping some of our friends at the Humane Society, there is a fundraiser this weekend it's the Mower County Humane Society's 25th Annual Walk for the Animals on Sunday, Sept 12, 2021, at TODD PARK (South Entrance). The registration begins at 1 PM and the Walk itself will be at 2 PM. You can get more details on the event here.
An adoption update on another black cat at the Mower County Humane Society as David was recently adopted. How awesome is that!
