My wife sent me a text around noon yesterday, nothing out of the ordinary there. But when I opened the message I had a different reaction, I laughed very hard. Someone, maybe a neighborhood teenager being funny, put a blow-up doll in one of our community ponds.

In this time we are living in you'd think this would be a coveted item, maybe the owner and the doll had an argument? Maybe a teen found the doll and thought it would be a funny prank to drop it in the pond? It was also somewhat ironic as it was also Earth Day.

My wife, didn't fish it out, no gloves, and she didn't feel like lugging it the half-mile back to our house, "What if someone drove by and saw me dragging this doll?"

We went on a walk together later on in the evening and walked by blow-up doll pond and it was gone so someone got home from work and was surprised by the missing companionship or someone who lived around the pond grabbed it and threw it away.

One comment that my wife got after posting it to social media was that "This picture is 2020" and I think some of us can agree that 2020 has been very unexpected and surprising.
