Three-Time Cancer Survivor to Speak at Faribault Elks Lodge

The Rice County Relay for Life is just a little more than two months away on August 4 and takes place on the Rice County Fairgrounds. Several fundraising events often take place ahead of time to help raise money to fund this event.

One of those events is an 11:30AM luncheon this Friday, June 2, at the Elks Lodge East Wing in Faribault (the Elks Lodge is behind Taco John's). Three-time cancer survivor Lori Warner will be speaking about her experiences in a witty and insightful way. This former Faribault business owner and entrepreneur and 20-year Chamber Executive in Minnesota and Nebraska will leave you feeling lighthearted and inspired after her presentation. Sponsored by Faribault Interiors, this event costs $20 to attend. And like I mentioned earlier, the proceeds benefit the Rice County Relay for Life.
