Weekend Roundup October 14-16
I've had the Loverboy song "Working for the Weekend" in my head throughout the day as we draw closer to the weekend. Despite the threat of a few rain showers on Saturday, overall, the forecast is looking warm and like an ideal time to enjoy all that fall has to offer. If you're looking for some weekend inspiration, I've rounded up a few of the things going on in our area this weekend!
- Spend Saturday and Sunday getting an inside look into artists' studios, meet the artists, ask questions and check out a variety of mediums during the South Central Minnesota Studio Artour.
- Saturday morning you can get rid of any old computers at the Rice County Electronics Recycling Event.
- Saturday evening support vets at the Pheasants for Hospitalized Veterans event in Owatonna with a live and silent auction, plus a meat raffle.
- Support the Steele County Humane Society, and enjoy drinks. Those two things are combined into one event during the Owatonna Battle of the Bars on Sunday afternoon.
- Take a drive and see the fall colors with one of these suggested routes.
- Get lost in a corn maze.
- Go on a fun fall date, or family outing.
Have a great weekend!
