Weekend Shooting At Popular Owatonna Park
Around 5:30 pm on Sunday, July 18th, the Owatonna Police Department was notified of a reported shooting in Dartt's Park (600 Cherry Street).
Officers did not locate any victims or suspects.
According to a media release from the Owatonna Police Department,
"Many witnesses to the shooting reported hearing two gun shots come from the east end of the park and observed two vehicles rapidly leaving the area."
Owatonna detectives are continuing with the investigation.
The release explains,
"The investigation has revealed that this shooting may have been targeted and does not appear to be a random act."
At this time, no arrests have been made.
