Faribault Main Street Car Cruise Night is back Friday night (7/20) it all starts at 6 PM on Central Avenue in downtown Faribault. There will be lots of great tunes and more.

For those that commute back and forth a lot to the cities, there are some more headaches happening this week.

The good news is that there will soon be a state-of-the-art public service building to better connect the seven city buildings that are spread all over downtown. The bad news 1000 parking spaces are currently on the site of this building.

50 volunteers deliver Meals on Wheels in Faribault. That's about 100 short of what a town this size should have. Soon the number of routes will have to decrease and the number of meals each volunteer has to carry will increase due to the shortage of drivers.

If you traveled anywhere near the Twin Cities the last couple of days, you may have seen some MnDot signs that read, "Air Quality Alert. Refuel after Dusk." I had not recalled seeing that ever before. So I wanted to do some digging to find out what that meant.

Welcome to spring. It's nice to be outside. Except for some areas like Hastings, where the Gnats are visious this year.

The Faribault Mainstreet ar Cruise season got off to a good start on Friday night, with a great turnout of cars and people looking at the cars.
