Every year, without fail, there will be a prank or two pulled on KDHL's Jerry Groskruetz during the Rice County Fair. A few years back it was a wooden rocking chair that was at the end of it's life, the following year it was replaced with a '70s era pleather recliner and a note instructing that Jerry should not be woken unless you bring him a snack. It's all in good fun, and it's always amusing to see what the new year will bring.

This year, our favorite prankster Harley, decided it was time for Jerry to get a riding lawn mower. Now clearly, no ordinary riding mower would do. Harley combine an old push mower with a mountain bike, to create something that drew quite a bit of attention at the Rice County Fair! "The faster he pedals, the cheaper it is" is what the sign attached to it read. I can't even tell you how many people stopped to check out this invention, take pictures, or ask when Jerry would be demonstrating it! Jerry, always a good sport, did take it for a spin at the fair too, and I've got the picture to prove it! Wonder what we'll find next year.......
