The Fourth of July is two weeks away, just enough time to get your plans together and start working on how you're going to decorate your boat for the upcoming Roberds Lake Club Boat Parade. Most of the boats I saw last year went with one theme or another such as patriotic, Santa, tropical, birthday, sportsman, rubber duck and more...

Last weekend our nation celebrated its independence. Every year, people throw on red, white and blue outfits and take a moment to enjoy summer and reflect on what it means to be American.

North Morristown marked its 124th Fourth of July celebration with plenty of food, music and fun. As always, the parade was a big draw. This year's parade featured 60 entries and lasted a little over an hour. Check out the pictures below for all of this year's fun and festivities...

The 124th annual North Morristown July 4th celebration was another success, thanks in large part to perfect weather. When I arrived about 8:50AM to set up for the patriotic program broadcast, there was already a long line for the homemade pies...

I drove out to North Morristown on Sunday and saw some people getting things ready for their 124th annual event. The grounds were virtually empty compared to what they will be on the 4th. I'm honored once again to be asked to assist with announcing the parade, and we will be broadcasting the patriotic program on KDHL for those who can't be there...

4th of July celebrators in San Diego, Calif. got an extremely brief but oddly spectacular fireworks show in 2012 when a malfunction caused all of the pyrotechnics to detonate at once.
