This Saturday evening, January 18th, the Four Seasons Centre is going to be the place to be. The Steele County Blades are taking on Hudson Havoc, with the puck drop at 7 pm. This is a big night, as it's the night that Federated Insurance is honoring their employees.

There is going to be so much going on, including a Federated Insurance Ceremonial Puck Drop, a Puck Shoot Contest, Chuck a Puck, prizes and more. Free hot cocoa and cookies after the game, you can meet the Blades, and get autographs. How cool is that?

This year, they are bringing recognition to the fact that January is National Mentoring Month. Mentoring is so important to the youth, it does take a village to raise a child, and they are going to be talking about mentoring. Mark Arjes, from Youth 1st was on our Talk of the Town program this morning, and he is very familiar with the need to mentor the youth. They will be talking some about mentoring at the game. He also brought along a couple of Blades players, Jake Friese and Riley Cook, who talked about the game this Saturday and how their season is going.

This Saturday should be a blast, let's help them pack the stands. There are tickets out there, Federated has them available, and we are giving them away here.
