Weekend Roundup July 8-10

The weekend is here! After having Monday off for the Fourth of July holiday, and thereby having a shortened work week, you would think that we wouldn't be quite as impatient for the weekend. But here in Minnesota our summers are short and the weather looks to be great, leaving us all ready to get out of the 9-5 routine and enjoy the weekend in all its glory. This weekend there is plenty going on to keep you busy!

• Saturday morning don’t miss the Faribault Farmers Market at Central Park in Faribault. Open from 7AM to noon.
• Start off your Saturday morning by getting your blood pumping! The Faribault Flyers, Bike, Hike and Ski Club are having community hikes at 9:15AM each Saturday in February and March. Meet at Bernie’s Grill parking lot or email Fboflyers@gmail.com for more information.
• The seventh annual Congregational Church of Faribault UCC Garden Tour will be held on Saturday from 10AM to 2PM.
• Get up close to Owatonna's history with a walking tour on Saturday at 10AM
• Saturday night enjoy a concert in Ellendale with music by Flashback at 7PM.
• The Nerstrand Fire Department's dance with music by Smokescreen will be Saturday night at 8PM.
• Divine Mercy hosts a Southern Gospel Quartet concert on Sunday at 7PM.
