Ever have one of those songs stuck in your head? Well on Tuesday I couldn't get Lita Ford's "Kiss Me Deadly" out of my head and I still needed a Power 96 Cool One for the afternoon. I didn't want to use that single though, because it's so well known and I like to feature songs that aren't played as often as some the artist's bigger hits.

With the artist chosen, I started checking out her discography and found a tune from the early '90s that I decided to use called "Shot of Poison" from her fifth studio album aptly titled Dangerous Curves. From what I could find, this Cool One appears to be her last charting single in the United States, peaking at No. 45 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and No. 21 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The album, which was released in November 1991, was also her last charting effort in the U.S., managing to climb to No. 132 on the U.S. Billboard 200 but making it to No. 51 on the UK Albums Chart, making it her highest charting record in the UK.

Please take time out of your day to catch the next Power 96 Cool One, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts in Faribault, at 4:35PM this afternoon.
