I wrapped up last week's Power 96 Cool Ones with my favorite single from the Black Keys, "Howlin' for You, " from their sixth studio album, Brothers. Released on May 18, 2010, this album would prove to be their breakthrough effort into the mainstream music scene and charted at No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200. "Howlin' for You" was the second single pulled from the album and peaked at No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard Alternative Songs chart, No. 5 on the Rock Songs chart and No. 116 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their first single from the album, "Tighten Up," was produced by Danger Mouse and went to No. 1 on both the Alternative Songs and Rock Songs charts and No. 87 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

I hope you can join me for this afternoon's Power 96 Cool One brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts on Seventh Street in Faribault at 4:35PM. Today's artist is a punk rock band that hails from Huntington Beach, California.
