Faribault has a home game with Northfield Monday at 5:00 p.m.

The Cardinals are at Goodhue Tuesday, April 11, 2023 while the Knights go to United South Central in Wells. Both games are scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.

Section 1A Wabasha-Kellogg (13-12) fell behind 10-2 against Faribault Bethlehem Academy (17-7) and stormed back to win 21-11 in six innings.

The running of the roses was last Saturday but there was a lot of running in this contest. The Tigers lived up to their name with 4 stolen bases and the Cardinals flew around the bases also with 7 steals. Anna Cohen had 3 and Huerta 2 swipes.

K-W is at New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Thursday 4:30 p.m. while USC hosts Blooming Prairie.

Four Big Nine teams are among the top Class 3A rated teams and Northfield received votes in Class 4A.

Waterville-Elysian-Morristown ends April undefeated.
