"All da people, All around me Feelin Hot Hot Hot!" - Alphonsus Cassell
No truer words have been spoken or sung as Alphonsus has apparently been to the Rice County Fair before. It's generally the hottest week of the year and according to the National Weather Service out of the Twin Cities, it looks like it will be a steamy and hot fair again this year. So how hot is it going to get? HOT.

Look for temps to be in the upper 80's and lower 90's next week during the Rice County Fair with heat indices in the 95-100 degrees range. You might also want to have an umbrella handy as well next week. The forecast weather discussion gives us the chance of some pop-up thunderstorms next week. "
Periodic thunderstorm chances litter the forecast for early next week. However, confidence in which periods will feature the best chances for storms is very low." Don't get me wrong I enjoy the warmer days that we get here in Minnesota because the good Lord knows we certainly don't see many of them. It's just when it feels like a hot fart that it becomes uncomfortable.

Keep those water bottles handy at the Rice County Fair!
