Power 96 Cool One Recap: Dokken

Wednesday's Power 96 Cool One was Dokken's "Burning Like a Flame" from their fourth studio album, Back for the Attack, which they released on November 27, 1987. This single topped out at No. 72 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and No. 20 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and No. 78 on the UK Singles Chart. The album charted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 and also spawned several other singles including "Heaven Sent," which failed to chart, "Walk Away," which topped out at No. 48 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, "Prisoner" at No. 37 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and "Dream Warriors," which was featured on A Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Warriors movie soundtrack and reached No. 22 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

Dokken was formed in 1979 and during their career they've released 11 studio albums, five live albums and 14 singles.
