Power 96 Cool One Recap: Rush

I finished off last week with a song from Canadian rockers Rush on Friday's Power 96 Cool One. I chose to feature their single "The Pass" from their 13th studio album, Presto, which they released on November 21, 1989. The Cool One choice made it to No. 15 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and No. 25 on the Canadian Singles Chart. Several other singles from this album also charted including, "Presto," "Superconductor" and "Show Don't Tell." "Show Don't Tell' was the highest charting track from Presto, making it to No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

"The Pass" was the second single from the album and, according to Geddy Lee, from the DVD Rush in Rio, it is one of the band's favorite songs.
