Last Friday's Power 96 Cool One was Suicidal Tendencies and their biggest hit, "Nobody Hears," from their sixth studio album, The Art of Rebellion. This single made it to No. 28 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. The album, which came out on June 30, 1992, peaked at No. 52 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and No. 84 on the Hard Rock Albums chart.

I saw these guys in what I thought was an odd pairing as the opener for Queensryche. I even got to go backstage and meet with rhythm guitarist Mike Clark and lead vocalist Mike Muir. Clark is no longer with the group and Muir is the only remaining original member of the band. Formed in Venice, Calif., in 1980 as a punk band and morphed into a crossover thrash band. Over the span of their career they've recorded 12 studio albums, 18 singles, four compilation albums and more.

Check out this afternoon's Power 96 Cool One, brought to you by Kelly's Auto Parts on Seventh Street in Faribault, at 4:35PM on Power 96.
