Power 96 Cool One Recap: The Dead Daisies

Yesterday's Power 96 Cool One came from a band called The Dead Daisies. I'd never heard of them until they started popping up as an advertisement on our website. So I decided to check them out and really enjoyed what I heard. So I decided why not feature them as one of my Cool One's? Their single "Mexico" is the tune I decided to play yesterday from their 2015 album Revolucion. "Midnight Moses" was the other single released from that album.

A super-group of sorts, the Dead Daisies formed in Australia in 2012 and have seen a variety of established artists come and go over it's three year existence finally settling out on the current line-up of John Corabi (The Scream, Motley Crue, Ratt), Richard Fortus (Guns N' Roses), Dizzy Reed (Guns N' Roses), Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake/Thin Lizzy), Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner, Ozzy) and David Lowry.
