Power 96 Cool One Recap: Trapped

Have we had enough rain? Well I found out on Wednesday night, that yes, we've had enough rain. I had water coming into my basement and spent the rest of the night hauling things out of the basement and trying to suck up the water as it came in. Unfortunately that was a losing battle and I ended up taking Thursday off in order to deal with the insurance company and cleaning up. So since I wasn't there, Kelly Krage stepped in with her Power 96 Cool One, Bruce Springsteen's "Trapped" from the superstar-filled charity album We Are The World.

Released in 1985, this album includes the title track single that you probably remember and various contributions by some of the more popular artists of that time and peaked at No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard 200. "Trapped," which is a cover of a Jimmy Cliff tune, did even better for Springteen, going all the way to No.1 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
